IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college functions in accordance with the quality enhancement guidelines of Kannur University. The IQAC plays a vital role in planning, implementing, and monitoring quality initiatives that contribute to the overall academic and administrative development of the institution.

The major objectives and activities of the IQAC include:
● Promoting quality culture in the institution by initiating systematic and consistent measures for academic and administrative improvement.
● Ensuring continuous evaluation and monitoring of teaching–learning processes, student support systems, and institutional development.
● Encouraging innovative teaching practices, academic enrichment programmes, and outcome-based learning approaches.
● Organising faculty development initiatives, including teacher training programmes, workshops, and orientation sessions aimed at enhancing pedagogical skills, research competence, and professional growth of faculty members.
● Conducting staff development and training programmes for both teaching and non-teaching staff to strengthen institutional efficiency and service quality.
● Facilitating career development and employability of students through various placement-oriented training programmes, soft skills development workshops, and career guidance sessions.
● Collaborating with departments and external experts to organise seminars, awareness programmes, and skill development initiatives for students.
● Collecting and analysing feedback from students, teachers, alumni, and other stakeholders to improve academic and administrative practices.
● Promoting documentation and best practices that contribute to institutional quality enhancement and transparency.

Through these initiatives, the IQAC acts as a central coordinating body for quality assurance, ensuring that the institution continuously strives for academic excellence, effective governance, and holistic development of students.
